Pat and I are spending the weekend in Weaverville with friends. Pat had researched places to go hiking and she’d found this very cool place in Madison County called Max Patch Bald. It’s at about 4,600 feet and when you get to the top you can see a full 360 degree view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The internet is full of beautiful pictures taken from the top of Max Patch Bald.
