Yesterday as we were driving down 751 South, across Jordan Lake, we saw a bunch of photographers camped on the side of the road, looking across a swampy part of the lake. And we spied a few birds in the trees.
So today, Pat and I went down there to try our hand at photographing the birds on Jordan Lake. It was a cloudy day, which helped with the light. But my 24-72mm equivalent lens just wasn’t up to the task of really capturing the birds. This is the only picture from the day I’ve even remotely happy with:
