Today, Pat and I and our friend Jeff went on a hike on Piney Mountain Trail in Duke Forest. It was a beautiful walk in the woods, even in the dead of winter. We parked at the Mt Sinai Baptist church and walked the Piney Mountain Fire Trail to the summit of the “Piney Mountain” which has a whopping elevation of 468 feet. We then did a loop down the mountain and along New Hope Creek. There are parts of it that are rocky and you have to kinda claw your way around the cliff face in parts. But there were so many beautiful views
There was one part of the creek that had such a gentle current, the bubbles floating down the creek all lined up.
