Just to show that you can, once in a while, find things of awe and beauty on the internet.
Today Pat and I visited Leigh Farm Park. It’s 88 acres right off the highway 54 exit of I-40. The park features an antebellum era house and related farm buildings, a wildlife center, a creek, and a wildlife center. But mostly we were there for the beautiful spring flowers.
Visit the video it took at the park, One minute of bumblebee on azaleas.

Today Pat and I visited Duke Gardens to see the early spring flowers. And by early, I mean EARLY. Third week in February and it’s in the mid 70’s and all the plants are working heard on their buds. Lots of trees are already blooming.
